Beatles-Themed Art Exhibition Opens in California

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles, an art gallery in California is holding an exhibition of Beatles-themed art.

“All Together Now: A Tribute to the Beatles” opens today at the Nucleus Art Gallery in Alhambra, California. More than 80 artists have work in the show which includes everything from felt figures of George Harrison playing the sitar to a “Rocky Racoon” themed print. Some of the work in the show is on display on the gallery’s blog.
The show kicks off with an opening night party featuring a Beatles tribute band and attendees dressed in ’60 garb get in free. The exhibition runs through July 29 and a portion of the exhibition’s proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders.
