McCartney news: Paul McCartney to appear on British radio, U.S. TV Wednesday


Paul McCartney will be featured in separate shows on both sides of the Atlantic on Wednesday.
He'll will be interviewed on BBC 6 Music in London Wednesday by Lauren Laverne, it was posted on his Facebook page today. You can hear the interview between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. London time (5 a.m. to 8 a.m. ET/2 a.m. to 5 a.m. PT) at http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music. Interviews that air on the BBC are usually archived online for a limited number of days after they are first broadcast.
Meanwhile, NBC will air “Jimmy Fallon’s Primetime Music Special” featuring comedy sketches from his “Late Night” show, one including Paul McCartney, in a one-hour special at 10 p.m. ET/PT Wednesday (July 25).
The show, hosted by Fallon, will include the “Scrambled Egg” sketch done with McCartney during an appearance on the show in December.
On the original airing with the show, McCartney also talked about some of the great moments in his life and sang "Here Today."
Also featured on the special will be Fallon as Neil Young singing “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” and musical collaborations with Bruce Springsteen on “Whip My Hair” and Justin Timberlake with “History of Rap.”
