LIVERPOOL photographer Mike McCartney attempted to break a world record by organising an exclusive exhibition.
Mike, brother of Beatles singer Paul, threw together the exhibition of his work showcasing Liverpool at its best, which was held at Editions in Cook Street on Saturday.
He told the ECHO: “There was a load of international media being shown around the city with Visit England and they asked me to put something together.
“I tracked down around 20 of my pictures in a few days.
“The Museum of Liverpool had 12 of them and I got the others sent up from London. But the exhibition only lasted a couple of hours.
“That got me thinking that perhaps I could break the Guinness World Record for the shortest duration of a photo exhibition.”
