El 7 de septiembre Paul McCartney publicará el DVD Live Kisses, que contiene el concierto especial que dio, el pasado 9 de febrero (fecha del 48º aniversario del debut de The Beatles en The Ed Sullivan Show), en los Capitol Studios de Los Angeles.
Pocas horas después de que se añadiera una estrella con su nombre al Walk of Fame de Hollywood, McCartney presentó en directo su último álbum, Kisses on the Bottom, respaldado por el productor Tommy LiPuma; Al Schmitt, al control de sonido; la directora musical del disco, Diana Krall, al piano, y los músicos que participaron en el álbum: John Clayton, Karriem Riggins, John Pizzarelli, Anthony Wilson, Mike Mainieri y Alan Broadbent.
McCartney evitó tocar sus instrumentos habituales (bajo, guitarra y piano) para centrarse únicamente en cantar su nuevo material.
En el DVD también se incluyen entrevistas con otros colaboradores de Kisses on the Bottom, como Eric Clapton y Stevie Wonder, además de Krall y LiPuma.
Entre las canciones incluidas en Live Kisses están Home, More I Cannot Wish You, Always, Bye Bye Blackbird, I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, The Glory of Love y My Valentine, con el acompañamiento a la guitarra acústica de Joe Walsh.
Live Kisses ha sido dirigido por Jonas Ákerlund, responsable de videoclips para Blondie, The Prodigy, The Cardigans, Madonna, Metallica, U2, Lady Gaga, Rammstein, P!nk, Mika o Duran Duran.

This performance was recorded live at a once in a lifetime performance that took place on Thursday 9th February, from the famed Capitol Studios where much of Sir Paul McCartney's Album 'Kisses On The Bottom' created.
Kisses On The Bottom is a collection of standards Paul grew up listening to, as well as two brand new McCartney compositions "My Valentine" and "Only Our Hearts" (which feature guest turns, respectively, from Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder). Recorded with the aid of Grammy-winning producer Tommy LiPuma and Diana Krall and her band--who will back Paul for the Capitol live stream event--Kisses On The Bottom is a deeply personal journey through songs that, in some cases, a young Paul first heard his father perform on the family piano.
