SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY'S PLAN FOR UNRELEASED JOHN LENNON SONG

His former band mates weren’t keen on it but Sir Paul McCartney plans to resurrect a John Lennon tune the Beatles once gave up on.
Paul, 70, regrets giving in to George Harrison over a forgotten track featuring Lennon’s vocals while recording Free As A Bird for their Anthology project in the mid-Nineties.
Paul will work on the song with producer Jeff Lynne who helped with the Beatles Best Of.
He says in Mr Blue Sky, a new documentary about the former Electric Light Orchestra star: “There was another one [track] that we started work on but George went off it.
"We were like, ‘No George, this is John’. He said, ‘It’s still rubbish!’ ‘OK then’. So that one is still lingering around.
"I’m gonna nick in with Jeff and do it, finish it, one of these days.”
Someone will be (rock and) rolling in his grave.
