Big blast at Sundance

 

Ringo Starr’s stepdaughter Francesca Gregorini has broken out as one of Sundance’s hottest directors: Before her “Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes” even screened, she was signed by CAA. But she’d been mulling her options. A festival spy overheard Gregorini saying to a pal on a flight to Park City that while various agencies were chasing her, “CAA says they’ll blow me up!” Luckily the flight attendants didn’t get the wrong idea about the explosive news.
