Torremolinos can get Europe’s largest Beatles Museum

The owners of one of the world’s premier Beatles collections want to open a museum in Torremolinos Malaga. The municipality supports the plans and want that the museum will be the largest and most comprehensive in Europe to pay homage to the Fab Four. The daily newspaper La Opinión de Málaga writes that the tourism chairperson María José Jiménez will review the plans on Wednesday.
The Beatles are one of the most influential groups in the world. The group’s most charismatic member John Lennon visited Torremolinos and the Costa del Sol in April 1963 along with manager Brian Epstein when the rest of the band, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr chose to holiday in Tenerife.
Now hope Torremolinos municipality that to happen a reunion on the Costa del Sol by collectors María Amelia Moreno and Juan Ignacio Mayor which has 7,500 objects from the Beatles.
“The idea is to open the largest museum in the case of the Beatles,” said Juan Ignacio Mayor who runs the company JPGR which are the initials for John, Paul, George and Ringo.
