Where George Harrison Lived and, Despite Rumor, Didn't Die (House of the Day)

If super-cool amenities are your thing, then this Studio City, Calif., home will give you one of the most unique features we've ever seen: a lap pool in a prism-shaped glass enclosure. Oh, you want more? OK -- there's an indoor koi pond, too.

Oh, and there's also this: The secluded estate was rumored to be the place where Beatles legend George Harrison died in November 2001. Of course, it turned out that it wasn't. Harrison actually passed away in a Hollywood Hills mansion once leased by Paul McCartney and formerly owned by Courtney Love. It's easy to see where the confusion happened, considering Harrison's death certificate listed a non-existent address as his place of death. But even so, this Studio City stunner has forever become associated with the end of Harrison's life.

The listing describes the property as having "easy access to Hollywood, the studios, Downtown and Studio City shopping," and it calls the home quiet and private. But the lack of photos of the interior -- and the line about the property being a "great opportunity to remodel or develop into your own estate" -- might mean that it's just a nice lot in an ideal location. Nonetheless, that A-frame glass-covered lap pool looks pretty amazing. The 2,891-square-foot house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. (Thanks to our friends at Curbed for pointing this one out.)
