Two Beatles share the wealth for richest drummer and lead singer

 

To followup their poll of the world's richest drummers that was topped by Ringo Starr, Celebrity Net Worth now has a new poll for the world's richest lead singer. And surprise, the richest guy is a Beatle again.
Paul McCartney topped the list of the 50 wealthiest lead singers in a new poll by the website. The poll shows McCartney is the $800 million dollar man. Second is U2's Bono, valued at $600 million.
The list from third to 10th has a few surprises. In descending order, it's Jimmy Buffett, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Sting, Phil Collins (who was also second on the drummer's list), Dave Matthews, Prince and Dave Grohl.
Bono is no surprise, but Buffett's third place finish might raise some eyebrows. Consider then that he has built quite an empire with his Margaritaville brand, including his Margaritaville resort in Myrtle Beach, Fla. and products ranging from fashion, beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), foods, sundries that include suntan lotions and furniture.
