'Elvis Lives' Tribute Spectacular at Gallo Center for the Arts March 1 & 2

 
As John Lennon once famously said, "Before Elvis there was nothing." Well, Elvis is back, recreated by some of the best Elvis tribute artists in the world, and they are on a national tour coming to the Central Valley.
“Elvis Lives: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Event” will be performed at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2. Both shows are at 8 pm. Tickets are $19, $39, $59, $69 and $79, and can be purchased online at Gallo Arts.org, when calling (209) 338-2100, or at the Center's ticket office, 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.
"Elvis Lives" is a multi-media and live musical journey across Elvis' life. His flamboyant style continues to intrigue audiences of all generations. Featuring finalists from Elvis Presley Enterprises' worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, as well as a tribute to Ann-Margret, audiences "Can't Help Falling in Love" with this phenomenal theatrical concert experience.
Paying homage to Presley through the four distinct periods of his fabulous career, “Elvis Lives” is, in the words one critic, “a remarkable show of spine-tingling music, hip-jiggling fun and a trip down memory lane that few in the audience will ever forget.” The featured performers are Victor Trevino, Jr. (1950s Elvis), Kevin Mills (movie era Elvis), Ben Klein (’68 comeback era Elvis), and Bill Cherry (the concert years Elvis and 2009 first place winner of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest). Lori Russo plays Ann-Margret.
