Beatles inspire crossing publicity

Residents of a Port Talbot housing complex have renewed that old Abbey Road feeling.

They are getting in tune with a new zebra crossing outside their homes overlooking Princess Margaret Way on Aberavon seafront.
And – to mark the improvement – Neath Port Talbot Council created this image reminiscent of a scene made famous by The Beatles.
Ysbryd y Môr care complex resident Lotti Singh-Marta is pictured leading the way, using wheeled assistance, with Sandfields West councillors James Evans, Suzanne Paddison and Audrey Chaves.
A council spokesman said: ”Residents of the Ysbryd y Môr now live just that little bit closer to the seaside.”
