Apple to sponsor John Lennon’s educational tour bus organization

It wasn’t too long ago that Apple and The Beatles did not get along very well. Luckily for us, it seems like that has changed for good. The Beatles are now featured quite prominently in the iTunes Store and, according to recent reports, Apple has signed on to sponsor John Lennon’s “Lennon Educational Tour Bus” organization.
The purpose of the nonprofit organization is to help children explore and expand their musical creativity, which is awesome. Tour participants apparently use Macs while on the bus to create music, Apple’s logo is printed right on the side of the buses, and the organization’s website officially lists the Cupertino-based company as a sponsor. The organization also has its very ownApp Store app which helps keep patrons up to date with the latest events.
Very cool, Apple.
